DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to confirm that Bangkok – Thailand will host the 2025 Virtus Swimming Championships. \n\n\n\n    \n        \n            \n            \n                2025 VSC Entry Pack\n                 1 file(s)  947 KB\n            \n            \n                Download\n            \n        \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n    \n        \n            \n            \n                VSWC entry pack - public\n                 1 file(s)  943 KB\n            \n            \n                Download\n            \n        \n    \n\n\n\nSwimmers should contact their Virtus National Member Organisation for full entry details. \n17.6.2025 – Update to Wildcard entry conditions \nFollowing feedback from members and based upon initial entries\, some small changes have been agreed to the wildcard entry conditions in order to benefit a larger number of swimmers and nations.\n\nThe information below replaces the Wild Card Entry section in the Entry Pack.\n\nThe intention is to increase the opportunity for countries with small competing numbers\, limited competitive swimming programmes and/or those new to the Virtus family.\n\nPlease check your eligibility for a Wild Card entry using the following guidance:\n\nIf your Entry includes at least three (3) athletes who each meet at least one (1) published MQS performance time then you DO NOT qualify to apply for any Wild Card entries.\nIf your Entry is a maximum of two (2) athletes (both of whom must each meet at least 1 MQS performance time) then you may apply for up to two (2) Wild Card Athletes of any Eligibility Group as below:  \n\nYou may apply for up to a maximum of two (2) Wild Card athletes\nAny athlete submitted for a Wild Card entry MUST have a national eligibility approved and MUST have applied for their International eligibility\, you may be asked to provide evidence that this has been done.\nWild Card entries are to be submitted for consideration to the LOC and copied to the Virtus Director of Swimming no later than 29th June 2025.\nApplications are to be made by email and must include:\n\nCountry\,\nFamily Name(s)\nGiven Name(s)\nDate of Birth\nGender\nEligibility Group\nDate International Eligibility Application made\nEvents to be entered with Entry Times (Times MUST be submitted with application)\n\n\nWild Card entries may be made for the following events:\n\nIf athlete has NOT achieved at least the relevant MET – 50m Freestyle\, Backstroke\, Breaststroke\nIf athlete has achieved the MET for the relevant 50m or 100m event\, may enter 50m and 100m Freestyle\, Backstroke\, Breaststroke\nWild Card approved Athletes will not be permitted to enter Relay events\n\n\nAs soon as you have been given approval for the Wild Card entry then you MUST immediately send the 30% payment to the LOC\, and follow with the remaining 70% on the required date.\nIt is expected that Athletes will have their International Eligibility confirmed before the date of the Competition Start:\nIf any Athlete is declared non-eligible by the Virtus Eligibility Panel then they will NOT be permitted to take part in the competition.
