Virtus is pleased to confirm that Tignes, France will host the 2025 World Alpine Skiing Championships - an FIS homologated course and hosted by the Region who will present the 2030 Winter Paralympic Games. 2025 World Swimming Championships

1st Virtus Americas Regional Games

Lima, Peru , Peru

Virtus is pleased to confirm that Peru will host the inaugural Virtus Americas Regional Games in 2026. Taking place a year before the Global Games and two years before the LA Paralympic Games, the event will be a highly competitive competition for the Regions best athletes with an intellectual impairment, Down syndrome and autism.

2027 Global Games

Cairo, Egypt , Egypt

We are delighted to announce that, for the first time, the Virtus Global Games will be held in Africa. The 7th edition of the worlds largest sports event for elite athletes with an intellectual impairment will take place in Cairo, Egypt. Details of the competition programme are scheduled to be confirmed in late 2025.
