We are sorry to confirm that, due to the resurgence of coronavirus across Europe and changes to national regulations in Portugal, we have no choice but to cancel the upcoming World Futsal Championships.

We apologise for the inevitable disappointment but this decision was beyond our control.

The Virtus Football Committee are looking at options to rearrange this later in the year and will share details as soon as possible. Please also be aware that the entry package for the World Football Championships – which includes a new Challenge competition for all nations who do not qualify for the Cup competition – will be available shortly on the calendar page.
